milestones.
there will be lots of important physical development milestones taking place these next few months. Between 3-6 months is the time of crucial growth.. you will notice changes such as your kitten ahas become more agile and their natural hunting skills have kicked in full fledge.
teething
One of the main physical developments in these few months is the teething phase. you see like human being cats also have two sets of teeth during thier lifetime.
kittens get between 26 to 30 primary (baby) teeth known as decidous teeth which ideally start to fallout after the 3rd month and are completley replaced with the permanent teeth by the time they are 6 to 8 months.
kittens will ideally swallow most of the teeth but you may occasionally see a few lying around don’t be alarmed if you do.
Kittens can be irritable during the teething period. proper chew toys can be very helpful.ofcourse a playful kitten will play with anything from a hanging lace to the hem of your dress! but just to keep your house and belonging safe i would recommend you to use Potaroma Chirping Cat Toy Balls, these toys can keep your kitten or even older cats entertained for any number of hours. and not just that the design is safe and the three different designs and colors and sound makes playtime fun for the kittens
if your worried about toys having catnip dont worry as its perfectly safe for you to introduce catnip to your kitten after 3 months.
While in the teething period do not let the kitten play with your hands, or use your fingers as toys because kittens can play very rough which might lead to serious infections or scars!
Don’t be stingy when it comes to cuddles and love as the more you give love the more you shall receive it.

other significant physical changes…
The kitten body has started to become more slender she has started to lose the round baby belly that most healthy kittens have.
Their coat starts to get shinier with them regularly grooming themselves.
The eyes have reached their actual color...Kittens are born with thier eyes closed and gradually open by two weeks however their vision is blurr uptil about 3 weeks. Thier eyes have a blue hue right till about 8 weeks after which they’re eyes start to become the actual adult color.
As always I insist make sure to visit your veterinary clinic for regular check-ups.
