Siamese cats are usually a very healthy breed with just the occasional riisk of dental issues or some might be cock eyed. Sometimes There might also be a risk of Gangliosidosis which a genetic and hereditary, lipid disease, which although rare, may affect Siamese cats. Gangliosides are essentially complex lipids and the disease results in an abnormal accumulation of these lipids throughout the nervous system. However these diseases are a rarity and might only effect about less than 20% of the species.
Life expectancy of a Siamese cats ranges upto 13 to even 15 years on average with some recorded to live even upto 20 years.
